Chris Gulotta, Course Director
Chris has more than 32 years of experience in economic and community development. Currently, he is the principal of The Gulotta Group, LLC, a consulting firm that provides training and technical assistance to community development and housing professionals. Previously, Gulotta served as the executive director of the Redevelopment and Housing Authorities of Cumberland County from 1980-2010. A graduate of Dickinson College and Dickinson School of Law, he holds a master's degree in urban and regional planning from Penn State.
Nicole Sturges, Course Administrator
Nicole manages the day-to-day operations of the Economic Development Course. She has been with Penn State University for over 10 years. Prior to that, Ms. Sturges was a Research Assistant for the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation. In addition to her role with the course, Ms. Sturges also serves as Assistant Director of the Center for Survey Research
at Penn State Harrisburg. She holds a bachelor's degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and is also a graduate of the Economic Development Course in Pennsylvania.
